VIR receives fund raising boost from Hymans Robertson.

debbie

Volunteer Debbie Irvine suggested VIR when her employers Hymans Robertson asked for nominees for their annual charity donations.

Debbie is pictured handing over the cheque for £500.00 to Craig McDougall, Victoria Infirmary Radio's Commercial Controller.

Debbie said "I have been a volunteer with VIR since 1997 and we are always looking for funding to keep the radio service running. It is very satisfying to see a charity I am involved with benefit from these donations".

In addition to the annual charity donation, Debbie proposed VIR as the charity to receive the proceeds of Hymans' Dress Down Charitable Collection for April 2009 which has raised a further £200.00.

Craig McDougall said "We are very appreciative of the donations that Hymans Robertson have made which will allow us to continue upgrading our studio facilities to offer the best possible service for patients in the Victoria".

Hymans Robertson specialise in advisory and management services to the occupational pension markets in the public and private sectors with offices in London, Birmingham and Glasgow.
